The DET clay body for all field tile in Marché, Café and Variante product lines currently contain about 37% total recycled content as defined by the latest EPA guidelines, LEED 2.2 and ISO 14021. It is a combination of pre consumer wastes collected and recycled from Quarry Tile Co. manufacturing operations.

As part of Quarry Tile Co’s total environmental program, the DET clay body also uses recycled waste water from other Quarry Tile Co’s manufacturing processes. The majority of all recycled waste products and clays are sourced within a 300 mile radius of our manufacturing plant in Spokane, WA. Therefore your project may earn additional LEED points for locally sourced materials if it is within the required distance.
